Metro TV wins "Business Of The Year Award" at the 2005 Millennium Excellence Awards. The Millennium Excellence Awards, a true national event with an international character, is a platform on which patriotic men, women and organisations are awarded for positive contributions to our society, the nation and the world.
The awards, celebrated every five years, are given to personalities in various categories, who have excelled in their fields such as agriculture, peace, women empowerment, information technology, enterprise etc…., and is under the life patronage of the Asantehene, Osei Tutu II, and has Busumburu Dr. Kofi Annan, as its special guest of honor.
Metro TV won the prestigious 2005 ”business of the year” award, meant for a Ghanaian indigenous business concern, who over the past year, has kept to its mission, and contributed immensely to the economy and society of Ghana.
